I believe everyone should have a place to scream out into the void, and this is mine. I love War Games (miniature and not), Board Games, and Writing. I am not particularly good at any one of these categories but I do enjoy them immensely. The foundation for my want to start this blogging project (As if I needed ever more projects) is it will let me intersect my two hobbies and not have to worry about my three unfinished unreadable novels. I hope to grow as a writer and a gamer, and keep my inspiration high to go out and build community.

I have been war gaming for a very long time (in terms of my life) I started when I was about 10 and continued until today in my early thirties. I started playing Warhammer and old hex and chit war games with my dad (I have still never beaten him in any war game). The only time in my life I wasn’t really playing war games was when I was living in them, I joined the Marine Corps when I turned 18 and served two tours in Afghanistan, this experience influences a lot of how I view and play war games and is definitely something I hope to explore (mostly for my own good) in writing my blog, as well as critical examinations of how war games view war and conflict in general in contrast to my own experiences.

I look forward to going on this journey and if someone from the Void ever peeks in I hope you find some enjoyment among what I have written. I am also copying this and adding it my about Page, however I want to keep this post in tact for my own uses.
